Well it finally happened. Sure we have been hyping our idea since the beginning of August but we finally took it to the masses. There were alot of weird looks and a lot of explaining but all in all it went well.Ann and I were sat up for a week at the Peterson AFB Exchange and besides the drive it was a good experience but by the end of the week we were glad to be done. We had a lot of people look at us with the same look that Shrek and Donkey did when they went to the little village (the name slips me at this time) and then it took a polaroid at the end of the show. Yea, we had that look a lot but it gave me a chance to do what Ann says I do well and that is talk to people. Once they understood that the clothing that they had was personalized specifically to them (registration #) and that we would have their name on our website (www.certified-apparel.com) it was a lot easier getting them to commit to purchase. We sold a ertified Democrat and Republican to a husband and wife. An Air Force guy bought a Certified Hottie for his niece (supposedly about 4 years old!), and many other but the next one that sticks out is the Soldier that bought a Certified Soldier, Dad, Airborne and Air Assault for himself, Certified Army Brats for his two boys and a Certified Army Wife for his wife.
Well this won't let me add a picture now so I will go and try to figure this out and also update our othe site.
